What it's like to lose a loved one...

… like the world slowly being robbed off its color... the reds, the blues, the violets, the greens, the yellows and the oranges slowly fading into gray

… like the chocolates and my favorite food losing its flavor… bland and tasteless slowly seeping in

… like being in a parallel universe where you’re neither here nor there… having a difficult time deciphering if this is real

But it gets better….

… the colors slowly creep back

… the enjoyment you once found when indulging your favorite food comes back

… and everything becomes so real that you wonder why you even thought otherwise.

Life is beautiful. And it’s my choice to make it stay that way.
